The Small Group Clinics were designed to provide more personal and hands-on education sessions at a national conference. For those who want an alternative to the PowerPoint/lecture format, the Small Group Clinics provide a one-to-six teacher to participant ratio.
Physicians, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are able to register for up to two of our nine 30-minute sessions available concurrent with the traditional lecture sessions at no additional cost to you! Advanced registration is required.
You can sign-up for a small group clinic when you register for Scientific Assembly. There is no additional cost for these sessions, however advanced registration is required. A maximum of two sessions are allowed per attendee. The clinics are open to physicians, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Medical students are not eligible to attend the Small Group Clinics.
Twenty-five of the time slots per session will be filled in advance. The remaining 5 slots will be filled on a "first-come, first-served" basis by signing up onsite. Please see the AAEM registration desk onsite for more information.
The following Small Group Clinic Sessions have reached capacity for advanced registration and are currently closed. Five slots will be available for onsite signup when you arrive in Baltimore at the registration desk.
