I'd like to be a speaker - How do I participate?
The call for 2018 educational proposals is now closed and selections have been finalized. The AAEM19 Call for Educational Proposals will go out in fall of 2018.
How do I register for Scientific Assembly?
There are three ways to register for the Scientific Assembly:

How do I book a hotel room?
Reservations can be made at the group rate online. Visit the hotel reservations page for more information.
Do I need to sign up for each track that I plan to attend?
No. You can attend any session during the general assembly you wish without signing up. Exceptions are the Small Group Clinics and the Medical Student Session. Pre-conference courses require a separate registration and fee.
Can attendees receive CME credit for the Assembly?
AAEM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), and CME credits are available for the Scientific Assembly through an online self-report system. Instructions for DOs reporting AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. (PDF)
How and when do I get my CME Certificate or Certificate of Attendance?
CME certificates and Certificates of Attendance are available to all attendees of the Scientific Assembly through a self-report system. An email will go out to all registered attendees within 14 days of the last day of the meeting. You can access the site with your member’s only log in account to download, save or print your CME certificate or Certificate of Attendance. Please make sure you login to your member’s only account and update your email address to ensure receipt of the broadcast email.

What are the registration fees?
Attendance to the general assembly is free to all members. A $200 deposit is required for members, which is refunded following the meeting unless the individual wishes to donate the deposit towards the AAEM Foundation or the AAEM PAC. Registration rates to the pre-conference courses vary.
What forms of payment are accepted for registration?
AAEM accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks or corporate checks.
As an AAEM member, when will my deposit be refunded?
Scientific Assembly registration deposits will be refunded within 30 days of the final day of the meeting. All deposits will be refunded for members unless you opt to donate your deposit to the AAEM Foundation by checking the option during registration or by filling out a red Foundation Donation Form during the conference. Deposits paid by credit card will be automatically credited to the same account number. Deposits paid by check will be paid by check, made payable to the institution or person issuing the original deposit.
How many attendees go to the meeting?
Approximately 1,200.
